1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Turkey Rent Car website (turkey-rentcar.ru) and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Turkey Rent Car acts as an independent comparison platform connecting users with verified local car rental partners in Turkey. We are not a party to any rental agreement between you and a rental partner.

2. Service Description

Turkey Rent Car provides an online platform where users can:

• Compare prices and conditions from multiple local car rental providers.
• View vehicle availability, specifications, and user reviews.
• Redirect to a partner's website to complete a booking directly with the rental company.
• Access customer support for questions about the comparison process.

Important: Turkey Rent Car does not own, operate, or rent vehicles. All rental contracts, payments, insurance, and vehicle handovers are handled exclusively by the third-party rental partner you choose. Our role is limited to facilitating the comparison and connection.

3. Eligibility & Driver Requirements

To use the Service and rent a car through our partners, you must meet the following criteria:

Age Requirements

• Minimum age: Typically 21–25 years, depending on the partner and vehicle class.
• Young driver surcharge may apply for drivers under 25.
• Some premium/luxury vehicles require a minimum age of 25–30.

Driver's License

• You must hold a valid driver's license issued in your country of residence.
• Licenses must be held for at least 1–2 years (varies by partner).
• If your license is not in Latin script (e.g., Cyrillic, Arabic, Chinese), an International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory alongside your original license.
• Russian, Ukrainian, EU, UK, USA, Canadian, Australian, and GCC licenses are generally accepted without an IDP if they contain Latin transliteration.

Payment Method

• A valid credit card in the main driver's name is often required for the security deposit, even if you pay for the rental in cash or via debit card.
• Some partners offer "No Credit Card" options with higher deposits or specific insurance packages.

4. Booking Process

Step 1: Search & Compare

Enter your pickup location, dates, and preferences. We display results from verified partners with transparent pricing.

Step 2: Select & Redirect

Choose a vehicle and click "Book Now." You will be redirected to the rental partner's website to complete the booking.

Step 3: Partner Confirmation

The rental partner will send you a confirmation voucher via email. This voucher is your proof of booking. Please print it or save it on your mobile device.

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided (name, license details, contact info) matches your official documents exactly. Mismatches may result in denial of vehicle pickup without refund.

5. Pricing & Payments

Displayed Prices

Prices shown on Turkey Rent Car include base rental rates and mandatory fees known at the time of search. However, final prices are determined by the rental partner and may vary due to:

• Dynamic pricing based on demand.
• Optional extras (GPS, child seats, additional drivers).
• Currency exchange fluctuations (if paying in a different currency).

Payment Methods

Payment terms are set by the rental partner. Common options include:

• Pay at Pickup: Pay the full amount when collecting the vehicle (cash or card).
• Prepayment: Pay partially or fully online at the time of booking (non-refundable rates).
• Deposit: A security hold is placed on your credit card at pickup. The amount varies by vehicle class (€200–€1,500+). It is released upon safe return of the vehicle.

6. Cancellation & Modification

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms depend on the rate type chosen:

• Free Cancellation: Cancel up to 24–48 hours before pickup for a full refund.
• Non-Refundable: No refund if cancelled or modified. Usually offers a lower price.
• Partial Refund: Some partners may charge a cancellation fee (e.g., 1 day's rent).

Please check the specific cancellation policy displayed on the partner's site before confirming.

No-Shows

If you fail to pick up the vehicle at the agreed time/location without prior cancellation, the booking is considered a "no-show." No refund is typically provided, and the full rental amount may be charged.

Modifications

Date, location, or vehicle changes are subject to availability and may incur price differences or fees. Contact the rental partner directly using the details on your voucher.

7. Insurance & Liability

Mandatory Coverage

All rentals include Third-Party Liability (TPL) insurance as required by Turkish law. This covers damage to third parties but not the rental vehicle itself.

Optional Coverage

Partners offer additional coverage such as:

• CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): Reduces your liability for damage to the rental car. Often comes with a deductible (excess).
• Full Protection/Super CDW: Eliminates or significantly reduces the deductible. May cover glass, tires, and undercarriage.
• Theft Protection (TP): Covers loss due to theft.
• Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): Covers medical expenses for driver/passengers.

Note: Turkey Rent Car does not sell insurance. All coverage details, exclusions, and deductibles are defined by the rental partner. Please read their insurance terms carefully.

8. Vehicle Use Restrictions

When renting a vehicle through our partners, you agree to the following restrictions:

• Geographic Limits: Vehicles are typically restricted to use within Turkey. Cross-border travel (e.g., to Georgia, Iran, Greece) is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by the partner.
• Off-Road Driving: Driving on unpaved roads, beaches, or off-road trails is prohibited unless the vehicle is specifically rented as a 4x4 for such purposes.
• Illegal Activities: Using the vehicle for illegal activities, racing, or transporting hazardous materials is strictly forbidden.
• Smoking/Pets: Most partners prohibit smoking in the vehicle. Pets may be allowed only in carriers. Violations may result in cleaning fees (€50–€150).
• Subletting: You may not sublease or lend the vehicle to unauthorized drivers.

9. Damages, Fines & Toll Charges

Vehicle Damage

In case of accident or damage:

1. Stop immediately and ensure safety.
2. Contact local police (155) and obtain an accident report.
3. Contact the rental partner's emergency number (provided on your voucher).
4. Do not admit fault or sign documents admitting liability without consulting the partner.

You are liable for damages up to the deductible amount specified in your rental agreement. If you purchased Full Protection, your liability may be reduced to zero.

Traffic Fines

You are responsible for all traffic fines incurred during the rental period. Partners will charge your credit card for the fine amount plus an administrative fee (typically €20–€50 per fine). If the card is declined, we may pursue legal action to recover costs.

Toll Roads & Parking

Toll roads (e.g., OGS/HGS system in Turkey) and parking fees are your responsibility. Some partners offer toll transponders for a daily fee. Unpaid tolls will be charged to your card plus an admin fee.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with a rental partner (e.g., vehicle condition, billing error), please contact the partner directly first. Their contact details are on your voucher.

If the issue remains unresolved, you may contact Turkey Rent Car support at support@turkey-rentcar.ru. We will mediate where possible but cannot force a partner to refund or compensate.

For legal disputes arising from these Terms, the governing law is the Republic of Turkey. Courts in Antalya have jurisdiction.

11. Limitation of Liability

Turkey Rent Car provides the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Availability of specific vehicles or prices.
• Accuracy of partner information (though we strive to verify it).
• Performance or conduct of rental partners.

In no event shall Turkey Rent Car be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any rental agreement with a partner. Our total liability is limited to the amount of commission received from the relevant booking (if any).

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Material changes will be highlighted with an updated "Last updated" date.
